If that's only minor chips, you can fix them easily. There's waxy candles called P-Tex candles, you can find them in any snowboarding gear supply store. Clean your board and dry it. Light the p-tex and let the wax drip and fill the chip. When the wax on the board is cooled and hardened, scrape off the excess wax with a plastic scraper. Clean up all scattered bits of scraped wax.
