Hey, I'm from Melbourne in Aus. and I'm wanting to do a snowboard season at the end of the year in Canada. Have been looking into it quite a bit but still unsure about a few things. Don't want to do it in Whistler, but thinking a lot about Fernie or Lake Louise. Which one has a younger crowd and would be cheaper day today? More importantly, is it possible to get half season passes for these places because I couldn't find them on the net??? I can only be there, because of my uni degree, between end of November and late February, and am wondering if this will make it harder to get some work with an employer? Any advice would be really appreciated. Cheers!

Welcome Seb07 I hope you will enjoy the forum.

How do you mean half season passes? Aren't passes usually given for the day?
