Check out the sic new website for on-line snowboarding lessons:www.snowprofessor.com

For those of us who are new to snowboarding, they relate snowboarding skills to basic skills we use every day. (Who knew that riding a shopping cart would be great prep for boardsliding on a funbox??)

I looked at the beginner video on skating and stepping. Looks like a very good video for people to view.

Some people may not realize what their body is doing while snowboarding. Video of the learning rider and or a competent person who understands movement analysis should be greatly encouraged. This will get a person realizing sooner what to work on.

Some people have a saying "slow and in control". Very important while learning to keep this in perspective to reduce the negative effects(pain,ect...) of mistakes/lack of control.
