Hey guys,

Thought we could start a thread about some pretty bad crash experiences
Soooo any super bad injuries out there?
I know someone who wasn’t wearing a helmet and had a bad crash on his first time and lost his memory for a little bit

My worst injury is as follows: I was getting progressively better at riding rails in the park. One day I was really feeling it as I was hitting consecutive rails in the rail yard at Winterpark. This was the 3rd day of a 5 day snowboarding trip to Colorado, keep in mind. As I was feeling my groove I came upon a wavey rail. I made it over the first wave, but the second wave through me off and I went flying. The fall would probably have not been that bad, except that I had a walky talky in my pocket that dug deep into my back. I could barely stand and had extreme difficulty making it back to the car, as most of Winterpark is moguls.
The pain was still pretty bad the next day, but surprisingly, my back felt better strapped into a snowboard that it did walking around, so I made a go of it my last 2 days in Colorado. I still feel the repercussions today everytime I tweek my back. And my rail riding progression got extremely backtracked. My old saying is "at the end of the day, if you ain't hurtin, you ain't tryin."

I broke my arm twice snowboarding, from trying my first 360's if I recall correctly.

my friend and I convinced my sister to try to get some air on a table. she cleared it to flats and had to be rushed to the hospital where they cut the clothes off her and she was so upset because she was borrowing my fiends jacket.

at least once per season I land pretty hard on my ass and I get that feeling where you think you're going to drop a load in your pants and you have to struggle to keep it in. gross but true...and it sucks when it happens.

oh also, last season I thought it'd be fun to try to slide the box on my shins instead of my board, that burnt my snowpants and skinned my shins.

whoops.
