Kirkwood got rated #1 last year for beginner lessons if I remember correctly. I prefer the terrain when I teach 1st time athletes or people relearning.
It was probably a good/great find. The only thing as a beginner, you probably want a more flexible board. Learning on a stiff board is just that little bit more difficult.
