Anyone been to Big Mountain?
We would like to go end of Feb - early March, snow conditions any good then? I`m an intermediate snowboarder and my wife is a low-intermediate skier and from what I`ve read there seems to be plenty of intermediate terrain. Whats the nightlife like? We would prefer relaxed restaurant/pubs that serve good food, type dining.

Big Mountain has some of the best snow we`ve skied. Problems - the fog. Unless you know the mountain or are a fearless skier, you`ll be disappointed. In four days, we had one day of no fog. That day, wonderful tree skiing, deep powder. Great terrain. Only remember about three or four restaurants. Not a major mountain village. Not much in the nearest town either. We`re not night owls, but think there was one bar. Have you been to Big Sky in Montana? Highly recommend it. Much more of a mountain village, but you`ll need transportation to get to all the great restaurants off the mountain. dpa

little town, but we spent most of our time on the mountain. We`re going back again this season. Here`s a little slide show of the trip:
