So a few years ago, I posted asking about going cheap on the North Side of Tahoe. This year, my friends and I are debating the above three locations.

I've done a little research and found the following:
Location --- Acres ---- 4-day tckt - Airfare(SD/SF)
---------------------------------------------------
Big Sky ---- ~3600 ---- ~$310 -------- ~$400/$350 (Travelocity)
Mammoth - ~3500 ---- ~$260 -------- ~$250/$170 (HA)
Salt Lake - (multiple -- Varies by ---- ~$250/$200 (SW)
------------- resorts) ---- Resort

Sorry about using '-'s to format my table, but I couldn't get the editor to use spaces.

I'm not so concerned about going cheap. We're for the most part advanced skiers/rider (although I'm more AdvInt). Big Sky sounds the most tempting, but also the hardest to get to. Mammoth is easy these days now that Horizon Air flies in (which could also drive up the crowds on the slopes.) Utah (Park City specifically) I think sounds like the most bang for the buck with multiple resorts (Some with cooperative tickets) and I hope reasonable lodging.

I look forward to hearing the good and bad about all the options.
