Some people think the 1st year of any product can have integrity issues. If these bindings have not gone through a full season, you may want to keep this in mind. On the other side of the coin, these can be very innovative, functional, and excel in performance (not to mention, very collectable).

If these are as good as they claim and you feel they will be a desirable product, to ally your dependability fears(as long as you don't get hurt during some kind of failure) bring a back up binding system. In the 90's K2 had a very good reputation with product issues

Is a link for K2 outlets. I got 50 responses within 100 miles of South Lake Tahoe.

I've haven't heard any bad things about those K2's, but you really can't beat Burton bindings. I actually hate Burton and their "buy everything Burton philosophy" (I'm mad because my P1's came with padded 3 hole plates, and non padded 4 holes), but there is a reason everyone rides them. High quality and high performance. If it were me, I would take them back if you can and get your Burton of choice, at least then you won't be potentially kicking yourself in the @ss for switching.

I have never owned K2's or burton bindings. but i recently bought the new flow bindings and will never own anything else...they save so much time strapping in. I am strapped in and ready to go before i get off the lift and the comfort is just amazing. Highly recomend them

When I taught snowboard lessons with corporations shortly after 911 I heard alot of praise about these from an instructor. Another looked like she had well over 100 days on hers and had some cable tension issues. I am under the impression the issue has been taken care of with great customer support at minimum.
