Some people think the 1st year of any product can have integrity issues. If these bindings have not gone through a full season, you may want to keep this in mind. On the other side of the coin, these can be
very innovative, functional, and excel in performance (not to mention, very collectable).
If these are as good as they claim and you feel they will be a desirable product, to ally your dependability fears(as long as you don't get hurt during some kind of failure)
bring a back up binding system. In the 90's K2 had a very good reputation with product issues
