I`ve got size 12 (UK) feet, but not very wide feet. Any recommendations on suitable boots / brands for skinny feet.
I tried on the Salomon malamute`s yesterday and they felt really good but they are a bit too pricey for me. Plus I`ve only been riding for a week so far, so I think those boots are a bit to tech for me at the moment. I do however intend on boarding loads in the coming year so I am looking for a good boot that will last the season and improvement in my skills. Are the dialogue`s good (the shop didn`t have my size)?
Also any suggestions of shops / websites were I might find cheaper boot prices (preferably in the UK or Europe) cheers percy

that fit. I`ve got a pair of Malamutes, and they set me back ?200, but they`re great.
I don`t know how cheap their boots go, or if the cheaper ones are as good, but if you can get a decent cheap pair, it`s probably worth it.
I`d reccomend not buying boots off the web, though. You really want to be able to try them on and walk around in them for a good ten minutes at least, before you buy them.

I`ve had good luck with Vans boots for my long narrow feet. Check out the Daniel Franck model.

My skinny`s liked the Salomon Dialogue`s. My wallet agreed. They seem to be a great boot and have garnered lots of praise in the reviews at www.outdoorreview.com . You can find great deals on last years model right now too - They`re $197 USD locally, but I found last years model on the web for $141 shipped. Of course, make sure you`ve actually worn any boot you buy on the web since they are all so different in fit.

I doubt you`ll find a women`s 12 in a snowboard boot. Also, there is another difference between men`s boots and women`s boots... women`s boots are generally shorter. There will usually be two lace eyelets on a women`s boot above the ankle bend, and three on a men`s boot. I tried on some women`s boots for my skinny feet and they didn`t seem to fit right... in fact the Salomon Malamute, Synapse and Dialog are the only softies I`ve ever tried that do fit me.

Darn, I was about to suggest Salomon boots as I have narrow feat and Salomon fit great. If the Malamutes are too pricey, why don`t you try the Synapse or Dialogue. I purchased the Dialogue on sale for $170 USD last season. I wanted to go even higher for the synapse, but they didn`t fit my feet as well - I`m considering going to the Malamute this season (or maybe next).

then try the Vans boa boots (Northwave also do them now I think). My feet are so narrow they don`t really fit the malamutes but they`re ok with the boas.
