I went out on the baby hill with my brand new snowboard to get used to it before I headed up the mountain. On my way up the tow rope, some kids in front of me started to fall and before I could jump out of the way to avoid them, the kid behind me on skis ran right into my snowboard. On the right side of my tail edge, theres only a small chip out of the topsheet. But on the left side of the edge, the topsheet is all rigid and chipped. A couple of pieces are just hanging on.Can I just sand this down a little? Can someone tell me the correct way to fix this? It's probably just a cosmetic issue but I dont want anymore of the topsheet to peel off.

Hello cherbear82, welcome to the forum Is it damaged 'to the bone'? I mean, far enough to have it resealed?
