My Salomon board and I had a perfect relationship for 3 years where it allowed me to ride on it for about 8 weeks. But now it`s total-loss. Guess I haven`t been too nice to the board lately
I`m facing to buy a new board. But which one? I`m already an older boarder (36 yo), pretty heavy (92 kg), I don`t ride in funparcs nor do I build my own ramps. I do like to ride in powder as well as on the slopes, not being an agressive boarder although, sometimes I like to ride as fast as I dare to go (and then still people pass me, sigh).
At a shop a guy adviced me the Rossignol Strato 168 or the Nitro Punisher 166. On the net I also found out the Hammer contact, the Burton Indie and the Duotone Style might be of interest. I tried to find some reviews on those boards, but couldn`t find them.
Anyone having experience with these boards, especially the Nitro or the Rossignol?

Salomon Transfer, the Rossignol Dazer+, or the Never Summer Pride. Those three boards are pretty awesome, manuverable, yet forgiving. One of them is on the expensive side, but the other two have MSRP`s of $250 or less. Just remember to shop good before you buy, there are some good deals out there, you just have to dig a little deeper to find them.
