I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Why do people collect vintage snowboards? I think there's a growing trend of collecting boards. I see it on our forum and on other sites too. I find it curious since I've never collected anything, not even as a child. Why do you collect snowboards? Are you a collector by nature? What makes one board more valuable than others? Is it just a matter of age and condition or are there other criterion?

I have an old Joyride with smokey the bear on it. I actually rode it before. All my 3 regular rides might be around 10 years or older, kinda old for a snowboard. Be nice to have the space and $s for a collection.
