I'm looking to buy a pair of soft/medium flex boots. I've only been able to try on the vans encore boa boots and found it quite comfortable with minimal heel lift however no stores around me carry dc boots so as to test out the difference. Has any owned or tried on a pair of DC SCOUT boots? Please give me a detailed experience or opinion of the boots. THANKS!

Unfortunately I haven't owned a pair of DC Scout boots so can't help you out there, but I hope there are members here who can.

I have the 08 DC scout boots. They are very nice. Durable and very strong. Definataly recomended!
