(about 14 weeks).
It`s a good glove, and I`m on my second pair (the velcro wears out first, but then I don`t exactly abuse them).
However, I`m really not sure the thing provides much wrist protection. They don`t seem to restrict mobility, and I don`t see how they do much against overextension.
I think your best bet is to learn how to position your hands when you fall - before you learn from experience. Yeah, this is easy to say, but the only alternative is to restrict your wrist mobility so much that you increase other injuries.
Why do I have them? They`re a decent glove in all other respects. And the biomex thingy just makes you think Level have their heart in the right place.
The key things you need to learn before your first 2 or 3 days: How to stop your thumb being overextended/broken, how to stop your fingers being snapped back, how to stop your wrist being overextended/broken. After the first few days you`ll be going fast enough to then need to know how to stop your arms/neck from getting broken and your head from being concussed.

Oh, and don`t forget to avoid keeping lumpy/sharp objects in chest pockets - ouch!
