howdy, heading over the US to work at a resort at lake tahoe for the winter..... gonna pick up a new board in San Francisco, Sacramento, or somewhere round the north of the lake..... anyone know of good retailers for freeride boards, not too expensive? thanks in advance

Do you have your own transportation? If so Tri-Cities Sporting goods in Fremont Ca. near SF is the worlds largest sporting goods store and is by far the largest seller of snowboarding equipment. They literally have EVERYTHING. It`s kind of a bad time of year to be buying boards for the best deal but depending on what size you want there are still deals. North Tahoe is small so you can search that out easily in a day. steve

thanks for the info guys.... can`t seem to find a website or any info bout Tri Cities Sporting Goods on the net....prob isnt one....any ideas?

Tri-city (not tri-cities) does not have a web site. Believe me, the place is huge and sells every major brand of snowboard equipment. Here`s a mapquest link
