Hey Im Really Worried Ive Just Bought My First Board Burton Blunt 158, Ahm Ive Got A Pair Of Size 11 Rome Libertine Boots And I Just Dont Think There Going To Fit On My Board I Havent Any Bindings As Yet. The Bindings I Have In Mind Are Burton FreeStyle Large. I Mean The Most Information I Can Get Even If You Dont Think Its Relevent Would Be Nice Such As How Long My Boards/Bindings Are Going To Last Long Because There Too Small Or Something Along Them Lines, Thanks Alot.(Additional Information, My Boards 253 Wide.)

Heel and toe overhang can be analyzed by putting your boots on, then standing on the deck where the bindings will go (some people keep the distance between the feet at shoulder width). Maybe a narrower stance for carving, and possibly a little wider for freestyle (easier to spin on the normal/narrow side). Toe risers, angling the bindings fore or aft can lower toe and heel drag.

Burton usually has a rider weight rating for every deck. This may go a long way for many riders in keeping the laminations, ect.. holding together better. Properly lubed bases should make them last longer.

How many inches are your toes and heels hanging over the side of the deck?

Looks like you may be on maximum overhang. Plus is your narrower deck will probably go from edge to edge (turn to turn) faster. Negative is you may get toe/heel drag on intense carving.

heel and toe drag would be if you're really on the gas pedal and really leaning in to some semi soft snow. i wear an 11.5 or twelve, and i ride the youngblood 154 or what ever, (it's been away during he summer) but i don't get any drag. and i dig the responsiveness.
hope this helped

My experience in the past has shown good quality control at Burton. I personally use all California snowboards at present that are about 10 years old.I guess some people in California think different than most. My decks reflect that probably.

Some California decks seem to excel at longer effective edges, the freestyle boards sometimes have nondirectional flex and tail/nose shapes. I personally feel the nondirectional nose/tail, and flex to be awesome for freestyle.

Hopefully you can find a person with more current product knowledge
