how do you store snowboard w/ bindings.. during season and off season.... do you lie the snowboard down on the ground or stand it up against the wall? I heard standing it up is better for the board but wouldn`t the board curve because of the weight of the bindings? Please post. Thanks.

travel that way, and I can`t use the board from home. So it just happens that way. The board is usually leant up against a wall.
During the off season, I usually try to wax the board without scraping, before storing somewhere nice (i.e. not cold and damp).

often? Especially during season it would seem unnecessary. Does the constant on and off lead to any wear and tear on inserts or anything? Or, does leaving bindings on all the time cause problems of its own?

then take them off for storage. The more often you remove/replace them, the faster you`ll get at doing it... it takes me about 30 seconds to remove/replace my soft bindings and about 2 minutes to do my Catek plate bindings. If you do this make sure you have the correct sized screwdriver (usually Philips #3). I see too many people stripping their binding bolts because they use the incorrect sized Phillips driver.
I store my boards in a wall rack. If I ride a board for half a day and it doesn`t need waxing, and I know I`ll be taking it out again soon, I leave the bindings on and put it on the rack binding side down. For longer term storage I always take the bindings off and if I`m not usiung a board for a while I tend to flip it from one side to the other every few weeks. (Base up, base down).
Some boards are probably more suspectible to changes in camber due to storage than others. My wife`s Burton Feelgood seems to change shape readily from being stored with the bindings on it where our Doneks and my Salomon seem to be immune to the effects of rack storage.

I store mine with bindings still on leaning against a wall. It is fine. But then again, I have ultra light weight bindings.
