I'm stoked for the season.

Already got most of my new gear and I'm ready to hit the hills and shred.

I got some loose plans going down, hoping to work in snowmaking at my local hill this winter, I want to head out to Sunshine Village and make good on their wicked lodging/ski package. and I will probably spend a ton of time out in Whistler with all the kids I rode last season with.

...aanndd, I am starting preproduction on a documentary I'm making in the spring which will be alot like "bikecar" (if you're not familiar then go buy it and watch it without hesitating). Tentative title is "Scooter or Bust".

Jcuzz, where do you plan on going in Colorado, and what mountains do you plan to hit? I've been to the Summit County area a few times and could give you a few pointers on the area.

jcuz, i live in israel, we haven't got no choice. there is only one mountain that gets snowed under in the north, sothat's for me. how's w.virginia for boarding?

isreal, that's cool. There is a indoor place i have read about in Dubai, dunno how close u r to that place, but i would love to check it out.
West Virginia really isn't bad. Depending on when u go it is better. We went in February last year and we had alot of fresh powder. Do you ever come to the States??

Hey Jcuzz, I have never been to Jackson Hole nor Steamboat, but would love to check those places out. I have been to Breckenridge though, and its pretty cool. I haven't been there in a couple of years though, and they've had a few additions. If you go to Breckenridge, I would suggest not planning on boarding there for more than 1 or 2 days, as there are alot of other mountains nearby that you should check out, like Keystone, Copper Mountain, and definitely Vail.

ite thankyou for the info about which resorts to hit up in colorado. I have heard some things about keystone and would love to check them out for sure...Who knows, if your able to , u should take a trip out to the east coast and meet up for a few days. Eventho it won't be the same POW and all, but it's still cool...

Jcuzz, Dubai actually is a country Israelis are not allowed to enter (politics, yes ) - Pitty...

I haven't been to the States for ages, would love to visit again one time soon. Hopefully I'll be in a position some time in the future. In the meantime I reading about the nice stories here and elsewhere

Jcuzz, when you go to Keystone, make sure you plan it for a Wednesday through Saturday to take advantage of night boarding. Also, when we went, we tried not to plan which days we were going to which mountains. We would wake up in the morning and check the snow reports to see who got the most new snow overnight. Even though the resorts are relatively close to each other, you'd be amazed at the difference in snow fall sometimes. We've boarded on a foot of fresh POW at WinterPark when none of the other resorts reported any fresh snow.

That is crazy breezy about the whole politics thing...i believe it tho!

And I will make sure that I check the snow report when we get out to Colorado to decide which mountain we will go to. Thanks for the tip!

February most probably is an ideal time to go to CO.
I know in Europe wintersporters prefer the 'later months' (although I don't know why )

Heavenly resort (U.S.A.) which stradles the California and Nevada states has a lot of off trail cruising. By Feb. the base should be better (deeper, and more solid so you don't cut through on serious riding). This goes a long way in less surprises, rocks, limbs catching on the heel section of your bindings, ect.........

Not to mention a day closer to summer is more likely to be warmer. Some people may be in better winter sport form after a significant section of a season is over. Maybe the Europeans have similar experiences.

Hey Breez.

Doc is a freelance thing. I'm producing and funding it myself, unless I can get a boardshop sponsor to come on board to help out.

Bikecar is amazing.

and so is Picture This.
