clicker is cool because the connection points from the boot-binding are at the boards edges and not the sides like the switch, this definitely helps stop powerloss when edging/turning

In my opinion the best step-in system is Clicker. But I don't know anything that would be better than classic bindings.

Stepins do not have to be worse, as long as the boot fit and it has all the same features as a 'classic' binding (highback and straps)

Go with whichever setup has the best fitting boots. The boots are the key to a step-in system. I have used the Device setup for the last three seasons and love them but would not hesitate to use the clickers if the boots fit better. Both are great step-ins and use the heel/toe connection that IMHO is the way to go. By the way K2 now owns Ride which produces Device bindings.

www.boardzone.com only one mailorder that I could think of that sells Device.
