I`m a pretty picky buyer and I like to research a lot before I spend my hard earned cash. I like Salomon products because they are high quality and the manufacturer is reputable and has been around for a long time. Anyway I researched many many reviews and asked a lot of store guys and found out that the Salomon Dialogue boot has been one of the most sought after boots for the last 3 years. Here`s a bunch of reviews on this awesome boot:
Here`s 54(!) reviews, almost all good, about the 2001 model:

Here`s 8 reviews on the 2002 model

Here it is on a list of "Top 5 boots of 2002." I`ve also seen it on many other lists like this

To make a long story short, Salomons generall fit people with more narrow, "low volume" feet, like me. I tried Burton, but found them too wide. I simply could not find any of these from 2002, so I had to buy the 2003 model for $329 Canadian, which hurt the wallet. But the Dialogues are so awesome, light weight, have a very fast easy lace system, warm, just the right stiffness, and not too bad in looks. They`re Salomon`s third most expensive boot, behind the Malamute and Synapse (which are also really good, if you like super stiff, high performance, heat mouldable boots). If you fit the Dialogues, they`re probably the best balance of price and performance.
