So I bought myself a beveling tool and started on my way to sharp edges. I realize a couple passes should do it and not to take off too much material. So that being said:
I`ve searched the net and there are a couple diagrams on how to sharpen the edges.. (I can`t find them now) All say to detune the tip and tail but how far do you detune it? Most of the pics showed to the widest part of the tip and tail. Then one of the pics showed to gradually move from 88-90 degrees transitioning 3 or 4 times down one side of the board, rounding the tip and tail as specified before..
Burton suggests 1 degree base and 1 degree edge bevel so that`s what I`m gonna do. Any advice? Thanks.
