I have a ski week vacation for the March Break ‘02 (Mar. 9-16) at Smugglers` Notch, in Vertmont, only a 4 hour drive from Ottawa. It includes 4 lift tickets for 7 days. The condo is located at the base of the mountain & can sleep 8 people, has 4 TVs, 3 VCRs, stereo, fireplace, jacuzzi, 2 full baths, dishwasher, microwave, all kitchen utensils, washer and dryer. Other facilities on site include indoor swimming pool with sauna & hot tubs, indoor tennis, outdoor skating, cross country skiing, outdoor hot tubs, restaurants, Teen Centre, and numerous free night time programs for all ages. It has the best Day Care & Lesson programs, is rated the #1 Winter Family Resort in North America, and they guarantee your kids have fun or they refund your $ if you book through them. I called Smugglers` (1-800-451-8752) on Dec. 19. To book a similar condo through them, with 4 lift tickets for 7 days, would cost you $4860.00 CAN., tax included. If you take my condo with the 4 lift tickets it will cost you only $3600 Canadian!! PS: I called today (Jan. 18/02) & they have all 8 lifts open,16 - 63" of base, 63 of 70 runs open & 27 KM of x-country trails open.
