I am trying to find a place to take the famil over spring break. Is April too late for Tahoe skiiing?
Is is good skiiing in February ?

can be as deep as 30 feet in April. Unless you`re very lucky, you`ll see spring conditions. Follow the sun across the mountain, as it melts the frozen surface and turns it to corn.
My favorite spring ski areas are Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl. They`re fun, relaxed areas, and they typically have deep snowpacks. Here are some photos and video of a day at Sugar Bowl, last April 21st (this was during a low snow year):
