It is definitly going to be snowing this weekend in the Eastern Sierra. As I look out the window (at 5:55 in Bishop CA) I see nothing but dark, dark cumulus. The passes and the peaks are socked in.

Does anybody here have a good feel for how fast a board will get going down a slope? Sometimes I feel like I`m going pretty good (from the wind noise) but it`s hard to judge. Maybe up to 40-45 mph?
