was there. The run out from the top was quite long so you never really had many steep parts...Havent been to Powder yet but heard good things about it.

*horrible*, nothing fresh for something like 2 weeks and there was a thick, hard crust. It would have been pretty pretty nice if there was better snow though. Most (all?) the lifts are gondolas, so the ride up is warm. They were ANAL about straps on boards, they made me BUY one (gasp! $4!). It had some steep sections on the far right (looking up mountain), contrary to the other post in this thread. I`d go back, especially if it were snowing. I didn`t check out other resorts around SLC.

Powder Mountain is the best kept secret in Utah. Free bus rides back to the lift when you go back country, no beacon required. A $7.00 snowcat ride. It`s very cool place.
