It's time to list all the snowboard (or expreme culture in general) lingo so that everyone sounds positively neanderthal on the slopes, or at least the forums. Personally I use board lingo whenever I can so everyone knows how cool I am/can be.
I want to start with one that is quite pliable in it's useage, and one might be rather suprised as to how many different ways one can put it to appropriate use.
GNARLY: denotes greatness. "That triple back/frontflip-back lip-method was so GNARLY dude!"
variations:
Gnar, gnargnar (as in "gnargnarPOWPOW), gnar factor 7, gnartastic, gnartar (like a guitar),gnarstick (snowboard), Gnarly-pootie (someone give me a meaning?)
-----
JIB: to perform maneuvers on obstacles "let's jib that gnarly handrail"
(NOTE: it is an accepted response to say "JIBJIBJIB!" when someone says "let's go jibbin tonight"

----
AGGRO: aggressive (usually applied to the way someone is carving) "that dude is so aggro"
(NOTE: people who tuck and straightline a hill are most definately "aggro"

----
Straightline: go in a straightline down the hill "I just straightline it cause I'm aggro like that"
(NOTE: this is also referred to as "bombin it" but bombin it involves some carving sometimes)
----
SNOWGORD: the act of snowboarding "you wan' me teech you snowgord?!"
(NOTE: this word should only be used when acting very silly)
---
other words:
RADICAL
TUBULAR
TRIPPENDICULAR
YARD SALE
GEF
I've added a couple that are creations of my crew....feel free to add your own!
