Hi,

I am going on a skiing trip to Jackson Hole in Dec/Jan and just wanted to ask a few questions.

1. What is the mountain like?
2. I am buying a board and i wanted to know what i should be looking for under the following headings.

a) What is a good beginner - intermediate board? Especially as i am looking at discounted board specials
b) What make of board should i be looking at?
c) I weigh 177lbs and 167cms height

Hi saltidogs, welcome to the forum

Never having been to Jackson Hole, I am unfortunately unable to say what the mountain is like ...

As for the board question, I rather leave this for Perry to answer because his advice on this subject is the very best. I hope he will see this soon

A shorter all terrain deck might turn into a decent pipe snowboard if you advance into longer high speed rides on a subsequent acquisition.

Mmmmm, i was looking at a 158 palmer pulse. I just want to get a board that i can jump on and ride, hit a few jumps, have some stability and not be tired after my first two runs.

These are 2 URLs that retail Palmer decks, and have very brief descriptions of the pulse.
