Hi everyone,
I'm wanting to give my son a trip to Colorado to snowboard. I don't have a clue as to where the best place to go is. Any help would be great.
Thanks

thats pretty tight. first off how long has he been riding and what type of terrain and style does he usually chose to ride? Also why do you want to send him to Colorado?
Its not where you ride, its how you ride.

The terrain park ends where you stop riding.

He has never snowboarded or skied in his life. He wants to go to Colorado, but if there are better places, please let me know.

Kirkwood about 30 miles west of the city of South Lake Tahoe on California state road 88, got rated as the best place to learn to snowboard by a major snowboard mag in 2007/2008

i will agree with that. given enough time at kirkwood a beginning rider can mke a great leap forward in their skill level due to the vast amount and variety of terrain available to them. everything from your first turns to your first taste of backcountry riding can be done there. ride accordingly.
