I wanted to start a thread on here to get everyones opinions on their favorite ski or snowboarding movies. Please share your favorites and comments on any that you have seen or own.

I saw the new Warren Miller "Playground" film last night and thought it was pretty good, however I though last years "Off the Grid" was better.
Another good movie that isn't so much an action film, but a movie is "Outcold"

I love to watch pretty much any ski/snowboard movies, as they get me stoked to ride. What are you all watching to get ready for the season?

My favourite video is MDP's Picture This....it's not so much a "get stoked to shred" video as much as a cinematic marvel, showing the beauty that is snowboarding.

I've gotten 3 free sample snowboard films this year and they were all really good. I got one from Special Blend, DC, and Burton (in order from favorite to least).

The Special Blend film "First Chair/ Last Call" is my favorite mainly because of the music and they way they produced and edited the film. DC's film was my second favorite again because of the music and producing but they Burton film was the longest and had the most snowboarding footage. They were all good films.

I'd like to see the film "Optimistic" by Absinthe films, looks pretty good. Anyone seen it?

TetonGravityReaserch is awesome, Linescore is a great ski movie, First Tracks is a Tahoe company that makes snowboard flicks. Matchstick is a cool company. Check the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival website for more info.

What's the coolest trick you've ever seen pulled off in a video?

My friend has the video where a guy does a mistyflip to a boardslide. Crazy shit!

I'm impressed by Jeremy Jones starting an avalanche, snowboarding out of it, then dropping back into the avalanche, then outrunning the avalanche while in it.
