Snowboarding on acid!

This Wednesday I dropped 1 hit of acid after school and went out in the woods and did some back country riding. It was sooo fun. It was just me with a head full of acid, my ipod, my snowboard, and some weed.

The acid didn't make it any harder to snowboard at all, it actually gave me more confidence and made anything seem posible.

I ended up wrecking my knee pretty bad on a tree after I fucked up on a jump but other than that it was an amazing trip. I was trying to hit this natural jump in between 2 trees on a rather steep hill covered in about 6inches of fresh powder. Since the jump was covered in powder I couldn't read it properly and fucked up as soon as I hit it. My board slid out from underneath me and my leg nailed a tree mid air.

Shit was fun though. If anyoe else out there likes mushrooms or LSD I'd highly recomend trying some tripping snowboarding.

well, I very don't recommend it. drugs are bad for you. for everybody. snowboarding should give you a natural high. I most sincerely and persistently request anybody to abstain from drugs.

LSD can be good for you. It can change your outlook on life in a very positive way.

I know of a boy that was killed by it. He jumped of a bridge. LSD is definitely VERY, VERY wrong. As all drugs are. They blow up your brains. Some immediately and some in the long run.

Snowboarding on acid sounds pretty dope. I'm planning on bringing a bunch of acid weed and booze with me on my next snowboarding trip. And breezze ur friend who jumped off a bridge while on acid was probably an idiot. Theres nothing wrong with acid and if u can handle it while snowboarding i say go for it.

I won't bash anyone for experimenting with drugs....I did enough back in the day to get kill an elephant. Hello, there is no real acid today, unless you have been in touch with Timothy Leary. What you have put in your body is really questionable(rat poison,speed,angel dust,etc). Are you looking to die anytime soon!!! Cause you will. If you are going to do something stupid, go natural. Basically your putting your life in someone you probably don't know and he really doesn't give a shit about you anyway. So wake up dude. Smoke some sence and enjoy staying alive. hey oldboarder first of all you wouldnt be able to fit enough speed or any of that other shit to get you high on a hit of acid. You only need about 200 mg of lsd to get high where as speed and alll that other stuff you would need a whole lot more. Second of all it woulkd be wayy fucking cheaper to give people a square of paper with nothing on it rather that lacing it with other shit. Acid is not as good as during the 60's and 70's but its still acid.

Some mind altering drugs are legal in some places. Ciggarettes are legal everywhere in the U.S.A. and look at all the health issues and successful lawsuits againts the tobacco industry.
If I am correct mind altering drugs drain the sugar out of your blood at minimum to sustain the increased brain activity. If not corrected by sugar replacement you become a zombie. I don't consider this conductive to sports enjoyment/performance.
LSD has been proven to cause DNA damage. Better know what you are doing, because I'm guessing you will never be able to produce acceptable offspring after DNA damage, let alone serious health and cognitive issues probably to yourself. This brings a challenged new individual on this very challenging world if they even survive, not a good thing.
Outlawing something will never stop the activity, hope you really know what you are doing. Because you will have to live with the side effects of your nonprescription drug activities. By the way, lithium is a legal prescription mind altering drug along with many others. These are prescribed by Dr.s who have probably gone to college around 6 years to learn the effect on your body hopefully. If that Dr. had to go to school for 6 years to legally give you a prescription for a mind altering drug, there must be a reason.
Maybe you shouldn't think if it is good or bad, but what is the total and probable effect on you by consuming legal or illegal substances. These effects can be legal consequences. There is usually a good reason these are called controlled substances in America.
Coke a cola, pepsi, mt dew, coffee (some are actually decafienated), alchohol, tobacco ect.... are drugs. Be as carefull as you can about what goes in your body.

One has to be responsible enough to take the risks involved into consideration before taking them. The problem is that I doubt people know exactly what are the risks.

Actually, for me, 1 hit of acid makes me more in touch with reality. It's like it intesifies all of my senses and puts me "in the zone". The breeze rushing across my face feels amazing, the trees covered in snow look amazing, and cruising down the hill carving back and forth is twice as fun. No one's in danger, it'd be more dangerous to go snowboarding after drinking 10 beers than to go snowboarding after 1 hit of good acid.

Like someone said before, your friend was a fucking dumbass. Acid won't make you jump off a bridge, you've got to be a dumb fuck to begin with to jummp off a bridge on acid.

Drugs are bad when ABUSED, drugs can be amazing tools when used responsibly!!! (and IMO snowboarding on acid is responsible, I know my skill level and I know the potency of my LSD)

BurtonBlunt, I won't get into an argument with you. But LCD is the devil. Perhaps it is working for you, but most people I know that experienced with it were scared off because of the hallucinations they got. I know one man here in my neighborhood who went to India and tried all kinds of acids.. After 2 years his brains exploded - they could trace it back to the acids he took. He is now locked up in a psychiatric hospital. Hopefully you know what you are doing. I will keep my fingers crossed for you

If you don't know what your talking about, don't say anything. You obviously have no clue what your talking about and are making up bull shit.

First of all, I bet there isn't jack shit for acid in India, you need some serious chemistry skills and serious lab equipment to synthesis LSD and they don't have either of those in India. Second of all, acid will not make your brain explode. If you've got a pre-existing mental illness before you take LSD then the acid can bring that illness out and make you crazy. But if you're sane and mentally healthy going into the acid trip, it's not gonna make you crazy ormake your brain explode.

Psychedelic drugs have actually made me appreciate my life more. They made me realize how beautiful everything is and made me realize what a mircle life is.

I'll admit that in the wrong hands acid can be a very bad thing, but when used in the right set and setting with the right people it can be a wonderful experience.

Snowboarding on LSD was fun and I plan to do lots more this winter.

Something that is totally none of my business but I can't help from asking: do you parents know you use drugs?

Yes, they know I do drugs. They're pretty cool with it, they wish that I wouldn't do it but they know that I'm going to and they know there's nothing they can do to stop me so they just accept it rather than getting all mad and pissed off about it. And they also know that I'm doing good with my life (going to college and have $16,000 in my bank account) and I use responsibly, I'm not some fucked up junkie like some of my friends have turned into. And they were also young once too and did the same shit I do. My dad told me that he used to smoke a lot of weed when he was my age but he's only smoked it like 3 times in the last year because it just makes him paranoid nowadays.

My dad did drugs and now he's succesful (he's a business owner and lives in a $500,000 house), he know that I can use drugs and still be sucessful too.

If you've got a good head on your shoulders to begin with drugs aren't that bad. But if your a stupid, wreckless, careless, idoit that drugs can ruin your life.

P.S. don't fuck with crack, heroin, or meth. Psychedelics and weed are all good in my book.

Thanks for answering that BurtonBlunt. I did NOT suggest that you are a looser. Far from that It is because you are not that I am concerned. Your parents probably were in the same period as me -the 'flowerpower' period- young. It was during that period that I lost a friend to LSD, so I hope you can understand that I cannot think favorably about this drug. I had more friends using it and ALL experienced hallucinations (seeing things that weren't there). Perhaps the LSD of today isn't the LSD it was that time, but I am VERY cautious. Drugs have a tendency to make you addictive to them. And, needing more and more and more to reach the same result.

Anyways, as I said, it's your life and at your age you are fully aware of the decisions you make.
