when snowboarding and approaching a jump should I be on heel edge toe edge or flat based when going off a jump,I ride regular.

If my board is flat, I personally will take off somewhat neutral.

for straight airs I take off flat based. It will cause you to have the most control. If you want to spin back side I take off with pressure on my toe edge and for frontside i take off on my heels but a lot of people spin frontside off of their toes but most prefer heels. Hope this helps
